A better round for Ryan Fox on the final day at the PGA Tour's BMW Championship in Maryland.


Fox, 38 still finished down the order at tied 43rd but he at least finished with a oneunder-par round of 69. In fact he had three birdies in his front nine with no blemishes.

However on the back nine Fox double bogeyd the par four 11th hole. He did birdie the 16th but then bogeyed the 17th.


The tournament was won by American Scottie Scheffler at 15-under, two shots ahead of Scotland's Robert MacIntrye.


Meanwhile Steven Alker finished in a tie for fifth at 13-under at the PGA Tour Champions Rogers Charity Classic event in Calgary.


Hi round featured four birdies, one bogey and one double bogey.


He carded a one-under 69 to finish five shots behind the winner, Richard Green of Australia who in turn was a shot ahead of Argentina's Ricardo Gozalez with Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez.another shot further back.
