NZ golfer Ryan Fox makes cut at US Open

Two birdies on the back nine have seen Kiwi golfer Ryan Fox make the cut after the second round of the US Open at Pinehurst.

He's two-over for the round, four-over for the tournament in a tie for 57th. He would have been further up the leaderboard except a bogey on the 18th hole pulled him back.

The front nine wasn't the greatest for Fox who had bogeys on the first, second, fifth and sixth with a birdie thrown in on the third.

The back nine was more settled as his birdied the 10th and 13th,
