A 14-strong New Zealand team is set to take on allcomers at the Speedgolf World Championships at the Seven Hundred Club in Tochigi, Japan,


The Kiwi team brings a blend of experience, fresh talent, and recent successes to the global stage.


LATEST HEADLINES:


Lading the way is Jamie Reid, the defending world champion. Reid’s recent unofficial world record at the Toro NZ Speedgolf Championship showcased his incredible pace and precision, completing 18 holes in under 40 minutes with only 68 strokes.


Partnering with Robin Smith, Reid aims to reclaim the Team World Cup title they won together in 2022. With their strong synergy and Reid’s record-setting form, they’re a formidable team.


In the women’s category, Liz McKinnon, a six-time New Zealand Women’s Champion teams with Amy Linton, making her debut on the world stage in the largest international field to date.


The Championship Format has two formats including the Individual Competition over 36 holes over two days, balancing speed and skill.


The Team Competition starts with 9-hole qualifications, the event narrows to semifinals and finals over 7 and 3 holes, testing each team’s endurance and precision.
