NZ Breakers busy preparation for new season

The new look Breakers have a busy preseason schedule in three different countries as they prepare for the season ahead.
The squad are in Canberra for the Blitz with game one on Friday against Southeast Melbourne Phoenix followed by the Cairns Taipans two nights later. (Sunday 31 Aug).
LATEST HEADLINES:
The team then embarks on a two-game tour to Japan, playing against former BNZ Breakers coach in Mody Maor and former Breakers great and coach Paul Henare at the Nagasaki Velca club.
It's then a return home and final prep for the start of NBL 26s on 19 September at the Spark Arena against the Brisbane Bullets.
The Breakers roster has been in training and was boosted in recent days by the arrival of Tall Blacks Taylor Britt, Carlin Davison, Max Darling, and Associate Head Coach Judd Flavell on return from the Asia Cup..
New American centre Rob Baker II arriving in New Zealand on 4 September, having completed his international commitments.
NBL Next Star Karim Lopez will not see game time but is progressing well with his return to full fitness (back strain. Britt and Rob Loe are also likely to be on limited minutes as both are managing their workloads after ankle injuries.
The other American Izaiah Brockington is finding his feet at team training and is keen to get a first trans-Tasman trip under his belt.
