With four-under par final round at the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass, Lydia Ko secured another top-five finish, marking a solid end to her week of competition.
The 23-time LPGA Tour winner recorded four sub-par rounds with scores of 60, 71, 69 and 68, finishing with a total score of 20-under 272. Despite her strong start in the tournament, Ko noted that the challenging conditions at Whirlwind Golf Club made putting difficult throughout the week.

"I feel like I played really solid, but I missed quite a lot of actually short putts over the last couple days," Ko said. "With the greens getting firmer and faster, you had to put a little bit more attention to it."
Beyond the putting struggles, Ko saw significant improvement in her ball striking. "I felt like I hit my irons a lot better, which is one of the biggest things that I've been working on in my game," she said.
Ko admitted to feeling tired by the weekend, noting that while she had Monday off, the week felt particularly long by Sunday.
Ko now shifts her focus to next week’s event at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas. Known for its difficult conditions, the course is expected to demand precision and smart "risk-reward" decision-making.
"I think the only similarity between these two courses is that the greens are firm," Ko said. "We've played Shadow Creek in some crazy conditions, with it being very windy and firm. I think playing smart is going to be crucial next week and just being well-rested so that I have good energy levels by the end of the week."
Ko added that while the course is "always in immaculate condition," the margins for error are razor-thin. "Your risk-reward, it could be really inches away," she said.
Hyo Joo Kim from Korea, the defending chmapion won the tournament at 28-under, two shots clear of Nelly Korda.
