Auckland Aces seamer Ben Lister could make his first appearance for the Black Caps in more than two years after being called into the ODI and T20 squads to face Bangladesh this month.

The left-arm seamer will replace Kristian Clarke who has been withdrawn from the tour after suffering a laceration to the webbing of his right hand while attempting a catch for New Zealand A in their second one-day match against Sri Lanka A during the week.

LATEST HEADLINES:

Lister, who is also part of the New Zealand A one-day squad in Sri Lanka, will link up with the Black Caps in Bangladesh on Sunday ahead of the ODI series which gets underway in Mirpur on Friday.

Pace-bowler Ben Sears will miss the ODI series in Bangladesh after being signed as a late replacement for Pakistan Super League side Rawalpindiz.

Sears won’t be replaced in the New Zealand ODI squad for Bangladesh and will instead join up for the T20 series which gets underway in Chattogram on Thursday April 30.

The New Zealand-based players will depart for Bangladesh on Monday morning
