Key player departs Auckland FC, Dan Hall moves on

Dan Hall is leaving Auckland FC on a high, with the fan favourite centre-back exploring his options overseas following the end of his contract.
The centre-back was a prominent figure in his two seasons at the club, where he was instrumental in winning the Premier’s Plate and A-League Championship.

Hall, 27 played more than 2,500 minutes this season for the club and would have played more was it not for a red card and one match suspension picked up in Wellington.
He was popular for his iconic slide tackles, a match-winning penalty in the elimination final, and his bubbly dressing-room personality.
“It’s been an incredible two years for me in Auckland, and the journey the boys and I have been on is something I’ll never forget,” said Hall.
“I’m truly grateful to be able to leave the club on top and bow out as part of the club’s first championship-winning side.”
“My teammates, the staff and most importantly, the fans, have really made Auckland feel like home over these past two years, and it has been a pleasure to go to battle for the city which has supported me so much.”
Hall brought title-winning experience to the squad, and he leaves the club, adding two more trophies to his ever-growing collection of silverware.
