The Blues have been thrashed by the Hurricanes at Eden Park 47-24, ripped open by the free-running Hurricanes.

The home side struggled to have any impact in the first half, as Hurricanes lock Warner Dearns chargedown kicking off the evening, before tries for Jordie Barrett and Pasilio Tosi gave the Hurricanes a commanding 21-0 lead at halftime.
