Three days after scoring four goals, the Football Ferns returned to their troubles in front of goal.
Despite 22 shots, including seven on-goal, the Ferns were held to a score-less draw against Thailand in their second match at Christchurch's Apollo Projects Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Ferns were equally as dominant as they were in the 4-0 victory on Saturday, but were wasteful in the last third.
The biggest miss of the lot came in second half stoppage-time, when a header from Gabi Rennie fell to fellow substitute Meikayla Moore at close range with only the goalkeeper to beat, only to send the ball wide right.
Malia Steinmetz, Jacqui Hand, CJ Bott, Hannah Wilkinson, Katie Bowen and Ally Green also had chances but sent their weak headers or shots at Thailand goalkeeper Tiffany Sornpao, wide or over the bar from close-range.
Before scoring four goals on Saturday, the Football Ferns scored just five times in more than 1440 minutes of action in 2023.
The Football Ferns will next be in action in late-May during the FIFA women's international window, leading up the the 2024 Paris Olympics.
