Three days later, the two sides will meet again on Monday 27 October at 12pm NZT (Sunday 26 October at 5pm local time) at Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez in Ciudad Juárez.
Mexico are 29th in the official FIFA rankings, New Zealand are 33rd.
New Zealand will then travel to Missouri to take on second ranked USA on Thursday 30 October at 1pm NZT (Wednesday 29 October at 7pm local time) at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City.
Ford Football Ferns head coach Michael Mayne was pleased to get buildup games ahead of the clash with the United States.
“It is great to announce these two matches against Mexico and complete a really good line-up of games for October.
“Mexico are a strong team who naturally love to attack and score a lot of goals, so it will be a good test for us.
“Obviously, playing them in their own country will be both exciting, being such a strong footballing nation, but a tough challenge at altitude and with limited preparation time on the ground for our team, but the challenge is a perfect one for us right now.
“The fact this window is three games in a short space of time also gives the players a reminder of a tournament-like schedule, which is great preparation ahead of starting our FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying early next year.
“I am looking forward to seeing how our players respond and what we can learn across the three challenge fixtures as a group.
“It has been a really valuable period since the last game to align our planning and preparation, but I’m really looking forward to getting back on the grass with the players and continuing the build we have started this year.”.
