Difficult third rounds for Ryan Fox, Jones

Kiwi golfer Ryan Fox has slipped out of the top-10 at the PGA Tour's Charles Schwab Challenge in Texas.

He now sits tied 18th with six other players at four-under overall after a one-over 72 on Saturday (Sunday NZ Time), where he made birdies at the 11th and 15th holes and bogeys at the ninth, 15th and 18th.

American Davis Riley currently leads at 14-under, with Scottie Scheffler looming in second place at 10-under.

Taranaki golfer Sam Jones remains in the top-10 of the DP World Tour event in Belgium after three rounds.

The 27-year-old carded three birdies and two bogeys at the Soudal Open at the Rinkven International Golf Club in Antwerp.

Jones, in his first professional season, is tied for ninth at 11-under, seven shots off the leader Nacho Elivira, from Spain
