Black Caps on top after day two vs Windies

The Black Caps have a 96 run lead over the West Indies after two days of the first test at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
New Zealand didn't add any runs to their overnight total as the side was dismissed for 231.
LATEST HEADLINES:
The visitors started badly and never really recovered aside from 52 from opener Taenarine Chaderpaul and Shai Hope 56. There were four ducks in the innings of 167 all out with extras the third highest score of 28.
The Windies total could have been even less aside from several dropped catches. The Black Caps also lost wicketkeeper Tom Blundell who suffered a hamstring injury on day one which saw Tom Latham take over behind the stumps.
Daryl Mitchell who didn't make the side for injury then took the field.
Jacob Duffy took 5-34 off 17.4 overs as he rppied through the visiting batting order.His maiden five wicket haul.
Matt Henry was also misery with his bowling figures of 3-43 from 22 overs and Zak Foulkes was the other wicket taker with 2-32.
In the second innings New Zealand are 32 without loss - Latham on 14 and Devon Conway 15.
