The Back Caps are crusing after day one of the first test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo thanks to some superb bowling by Matt Henry.


Batting first the home side made slow progress and struggled to secure any real partnerships.


LATEST HEADLINES:


The highest score was captain Craig Ervine with 39from 116 balland Tafadzwa Tsiga down the order with 30 from 78 as the side were dismissed for 149.


Everyone struggled against Matt Henry who had figures of 6-39from 15.3 overs taking the first and the last wickets with back up from Nathan Smith who had 3-20 from 14 overs. The other batter to fall was from a runout.


In reply Devon Conway and Will Young were steady to take the side through to 92 for no wicket, just 57 runs behind.


Conway is on 51 including eight fours and Will Young still searching for his maiden tst century is on 41.
