The Black Caps have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series after a four wicket win and 80 balls to spare at Mount Manganui..
Set 223 all out in the 36th over mainly thanks to captain Harry Brook's 135 from 101 balls which featured 11 sixes and nine fours. Otherwise only Jamie Overton's 46 kept the scoreboard going along with 17 extras.

At one stage the England innings saw four wickets fall for just 10 runs.
The best of the home bowlers was Zak Foulkes with 4-41 from seven overs wile Jacob Duffy took 3-55 , Matt Henry 2-53 and captain Mitchell Santner 1-22.
At bat the Black Caps also started badly as Will Young, Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson for no scoreall fell cheaply. and the home side were 3-24.
However Daryl Mitchell put things right scoring 78 not out having being joined by Tom Latham 24, Michael Bracewell 51 and Santner 27 all contributing.
The second game is on Wednesday in Hamilton.
