New Zealand pole vaulter Imogen Ayris has continued improve again with a new career high, this time at the World Athletics Indoor Gold meet in Lievin, France


It's just three weeks after she came second at the World Athletics category B indoor meet at Caen la Mer in northern France with a jump of 4.70m.

On this occasion she's equalled her personal best of 4.70 metres to finish second on countback in Lievin .


Ayris, 25 was beaten to the title by Tina Sutje from Slovenia on countback with Katie Moon (United States) third on countback.


Compatriot Olivia McTaggart finished fourth with a season's best 4.60 metres.
