A further medical assessment will be made in three weeks to determine his likely return to play.

Crusader Christian Lio-Willie has come into the squad to replace Sititi, and Dalton Papali’I has replaced Lio-Willie as injury cover for Luke Jacobson.

There are three tests against the French side which has been named with limited fanfare as the squad is missing a large number of top names who are committed to club sides.

The first test is Saturday 05 July at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin with a 7.05pm kickoff.

The second test is in Wellington at Sky Stadium Saturday 12 July followed by FMG Stadium in Hmilton the next Saturday.
