The Mystics have easily defeated cross-town rivals, the Stars for their seventh win of the season and top spot on the ANZ Premiership ladder.


The -67-47 scoreline was a just finish ofr the Mystics who won all quarters - 17-13, 14-11, 18-11, 18-12.

The win gives them 21 points and seven wins, one loss, two points ahead of the Taxtix while the injury-stricken Stars have just one victory and three points total.


Australian shooter Donnell Wallam was back in full flight and shot 42 out of 46 attempts, while overall her side had 77 attempts at goal compared to their rivals 63 who had Maia Wilson make 17 from 17.


However there was little other success from anyone else (Charlie Bell 25/29) as the Mystics midcourt restricted the flow of ball while Catherine Hall in defence for the Mystics had another top game.


There are two rounds remaining as the Stars are away to the Pulse followed by the Mystics hosting the Steel and Tactix at home against the Magic on Monday.
