Metcalf keeps starting spot for Warriors vs Broncos

After a starring performance in the win over the Panthers, halfback Luke Metcalf has been retained his place in the Warriors starting lineup to face the Broncos in Brisbane on Sautrday night.
Metcalf was a late replacement for incumbent Te Maire Martin16 points, including two tries against competition leaders Penrith Panthers.

Forrward Demitric Vaimauga returns to the Warriors bench against the champion Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.
Vaimauga, 25, has missed the last two outings against Gold Coast Titans and the Panthers - both wins - after suffering a rib injury in captain's run before the Titans fixture.
He will replaced English forward Morgan Gannon on the bench in an otherwise unchanged line-up to the one that toppled Penrith
Vaimauga is two games away from celebrating his 50th appearance for the Warriors, since debuting in 2023.
The Warriors are third on the ladder with 14 wins and six defeats, two points behind leaders Penrith and Sydney Roosters.

Broncos captain Adam Reynolds will miss his second straight game under concussion protocols, replaced at halfback by Thomas Duffy.
Brisbane sit one spot off the bottom of the competition table, after three consecutive defeats and 10 of their last 11 games.
Meanwhile, front-rower Annetta Nuuausala returns to the Warriors women's line-up for their NRLW encounter with Wests Tigers on Sunday.
Nuuausala has been unavailable for the past two games - a loss to Gold Coast Titans and win over Newcastle Knights - but will start at prop, with Ivana Lauitiiti sliding off the end of the interchange bench.
The Warriors and Tigers are level at fourth on the competition ladder with four wins and two losses, but the Sydney side trail on points differential.
