Luke Metcalf to leave Warriors end of season

A statement from the NZ Warriors ahead of the NRL Magic Round against the Broncos in Brisbane has updated the Luke Metcalf contract situation.
" Luke Metcalf has tonight informed the One New Zealand Warriors he has reached an agreement to join another NRL club at the end of the season.

said One New Zealand Warriors CEO Cameron George."
It is believed halfback Metcalf has signed for the bottom placed Dragons for an undisclosed amount around $900,000.
Metcalf, 27 only re-signed with the Warriors in October but this week received permission to negotiate with rival clubs, hopeful of becoming a regular NRL starting half again.
