Cyclist Nick Kergozou out of Glasgow Games

New Zealand track cyclist Nick Kergozou has been hospitalised in Glasgow and will miss out on competing at his third Commonwealth Games.
The endurance rider from Invercargill sustained a back injury during training.

The 30-year-old from Invercargill is in hospital in a stable condition and is being supported by his family. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Fellow track cyclist, Keegan Hornblow, will replace him in the Men's Pursuit event in his first Commonwealth Games
New Zealand team chef de mission, Nigel Avery, expressed the team's sympathy for Kergozou.
"We know this is a hugely disappointing outcome for Nick after all his hard work in getting to the Games.
"The New Zealand team is right behind him as he now focuses on recovery and we look forward to seeing him back in competition when he's ready."
Cycling starts at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome on Thursday.
