Christchurch to host Super Rugby Super Round
Christchurch is set to welcome Super Rugby Pacific Super Round back next year, following the success of the 2026 event.
From Friday 2 April to Sunday 4 April 2027, all ten Super Rugby Pacific teams will come together in round eight of the competition for a blockbuster weekend of rugby, entertainment and fan experiences.
LATEST HEADLINES:
The weekend will kick off with the Crusaders taking on the ACT Brumbies.
Saturday will feature a double header between the Chiefs and Western Force, followed by the Blues and NSW Waratahs.
The Highlanders and Fijian Drua will kick off proceedings on the Sunday, with the Hurricanes and Queensland Reds providing the closing statement on what promises to be another epic weekend for fans.
ChristchurchNZ, Super Rugby Pacific and the New Zealand Government confirmed the event would return to Christchurch through a shared partnership.

Friday 2 April
Game 1: Crusaders v ACT Brumbies - 7.35pm NZT kick-off.
Saturday 3 April
Game 2: Chiefs v Western Force - 5.05pm NZT kick-off.
