Change to All Blacks lineup to face Stormers

A late change for the All Blacks ahead of their opening South African tour match against the Stormers, in Cape Town on Saturday morning (5am NZT).

Chiefs loose forward Wallace Sititi has been ruled out with what's been described as a "mild" illness.

Sititi's withdrawal means Blues Anton Segner come into the starting lineup, as the openside flanker, with Hurricanes Peter Lakai moving to number eight.

Sititi's appearance was to be his first in the black jersey this year, as he didn't featured in the tests against France, Italy and Ireland.

Veterans Beauden Barrett and Rieko Ioane will make their first appearance for the All Blacks in 2026 with Patrick Tuipulotu captaining the side.
