Ayris takes silver at Dimond League Morocco

New Zealand pole vaulter Imogen Ayris has finished second at the Diamond League athletics meeting in Rabat, Morocco with a best height of 4 point 7 metres.
It was the best Diamond League result of the 25-year-olds career and first time on the podium.

Fellow Kiwi Olivia McTaggart finished 5th equal. The event was won by Australia's Nina Kennedy at 4 point 8 metres.
Tom Walsh was sixth in the men's shot put at 21.24 metres as American Joe Kovacs threw 22.58 metres to beat three-time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Crouser at 21.59 metres.
And Kiwi runner Geordie Beamish struggled in the 3000m steeplechase, finishing in 13th place.
