Veteran Nelson professional George Bennett produced an ambitious and stunning solo effort to claim the New Zealand Elite Road Cycling Championship, supported by GJ Gardner Homes Waipa, near Cambridge.

A record 15 New Zealand riders from UCI World Tour teams to line up in the 2026 Elite Road Cycling National Championships in Te Awamutu on 5-7 February.
