World champion rower Emma Twigg has taken another step towards an historic double after winning the final of the Women's Open Single at the New Zealand Beach Sprint Championships at Orewa Beach .

The New Zealand Women's Four of Alana Sherman, Isla Blake, Beckie Leigh and Juliette Lequeux have claimed bronze in one of the most thrilling races at the World Rowing Championshipsof in Shanghai, China.
