The New Zealand Under 85kg rugby side won matdh two of their two with a 25-10 defeat of Sri Lanka 25-10 in Kandy to retain the Sir Graham Henry Trophy. However the series was much closer than the previous tour with the Tuskers showing more physicality.

The New Zealand Under 85kg side have held off a much improved Sri Lanka in Colombo, winning 27-16 in a hard-fought encounter.
