The eastern region of Auckland city has won it's second major domestic football title with Fencibles claiming the Chatham Cup to go with Eastern Suburbs the women's Kate Sheppard Cup.

Auckland club Eastern Suburbs has won the Kate Sheppard Cup.with a 3-1 victory over Cashmere Technical in Christchurch.

A new venue for the Chatham Cup and Kate Sheppard Cup, with One NZ Stadium confirmed as the venue for the knockout finals.
