Wanaka 26-year-old Ben Richards has dominated the years Freeride World Tour securing another win in the finals to secure the overall Men’s Ski champion for 2026.

The inaugural FIS Freeride World Championships in Andorra has seen another kiwi skier rise to the top of his game with Ben Richards winning the Men’s Ski event.

Fresh off his win at the Baqueira Beret Pro in Spain, Wanaka's Ben Richards has been victorious at the Ski Men’s category at the Val Thorens Pro in France.
