The king of cross-country mountain bike, Anton Cooper is set to extend his extraordinary run in the Cycling New Zealand XCO National Championships at the spiritual home of the sport in Rotorua this weekend.

Cambridge professional Sam Gaze produced remarkable effort to pass more than 50 riders to 12th place in the elite men’s cross-country on the final day of the UCI MTB World Championships in Switzerland.

New Zealand mountain bikers Samara Maxwell and Sam Gaze were both encouraged with their fifth placings in the short track cross-country race at the UCI MTB World Championships in Switzerland.
