The 33-year-old, who became Forest's leading Premier League goalscorer earlier in December, exchanged attacking headers with teammate Anthony Elanga, before calmly dinking a volley over an advancing Jordan Pickford. Wood recorded his first goal-assist of the season when he found Gibbs-White in the area against a fast-retreating Everton defence. Wood trails just superstars, Liverpool's Mohamed Salah (17), Manchester City's Erling Haaland (14) and Chelsea's Cole Palmer (12) for most Premier League goals, as one of seven players with 10-plus goals.
