Tactix only unbeaten side, put away Pulse

The Tactix have scored their second win of the 2026 ANZ Premiership season defeating the Pulse at Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch.
The win puts the Tactix as the only undefeated side after just two round of the competition.

The Tactix won the first three quarters, dropping the final stanza when they looked to be ahead by enough goals in the 53 - 48 victory.
Aussie shooting import Charlie Bell missed just two shots at goal from 31 attempts and was backed up by Amorangi Malesala who nailed 20 from 21 and a couple of two point shots.
There was a good supply of ball for the Tactix coming from the midcourt with Holly Mather and Erikana Pedersen as combinations clicked across the court.
For the Pulse Ine-Mari Venter did most of the shooting with 33 from 38 and a couple of two pointers while Ameliaranne Ekenasio was able to roam more and scored seven from eight and one from three two pointers.
From the start the Tactix held the advantage as the visitors were always chasing. The Pulse did come close near the end of the first quarter trailing by just 15-16 at the end of the quarter.
The second quarter saw the Tactix score 13-7 while the third was closer but the home side again held sway 15-12.
The Pulse scored a couple of two point shots near the end of the final quarter to bring the score closer but were never able to challenge their opponents.
